VISION

Our vision at Prostate Cancer Canada (PCC) is to become the global leader in the fight against prostate cancer, earning the enthusiasm and support of Canadians through integrity, compassion, and innovation.

MISSION

Prostate Cancer Canada raises funds for the development of programs related to awareness, public education, advocacy, support of those affected, and research into the prevention, detection, treatment and cure of prostate cancer.

  • We are the only national foundation dedicated to the elimination of this disease through research, education, support and awareness.

All positions are based in Toronto Head Office unless otherwise specified.
 


Administrator, Events

The Administrator, Events will support the Corporate and Community Development team during the busiest event and fund-raising season at Prostate Cancer Canada. This includes “Rock the Road Raffle”, “Step Up Challenge” “Wake Up Call Breakfast” and the Father’s Day related events of “Plaid for Dad” and “Do it for Dads Walk/Run”. This position will require occasional evening and weekend hours.

Program Assistant

The Program Assistant serves as a central resource to the department assisting in the coordination and monitoring of mission activities related to health promotion/education, government relations and policy and research. A primary component of the role is to respond to health promotion requests and ensure health information resources are distributed in a timely manner; the Program Assistant supports the VP, Research, Health Promotion and Survivorship, and also act as resource to the health promotion and advocacy teams in conducting background research to inform procedures, projects and advocacy campaigns.
