How can I participate in the Safeway Father’s Day Walk/Run?

Register online: please click the links on the left to register online.

The registration fee is $30 (on or before June 1) and $35 (after June 1). The registration fee will be waived if the participant raises $100 or more in donations. The registration fee is not tax receiptable and non refundable if the participant chooses later to raise more than $100 in donations.

How do I receive a tax receipt?

It’s fast, easy and instant online! – Donors who make a donation online will have an official charitable tax receipt emailed to them within minutes.
Donations made offline will be processed after June 21 and mailed out within 12 weeks.

I have forgotten my user name and password

Remember that your username and password are case sensitive.

What is a Personal Page?

As an online participant, you can create your own personalized donation page. A personal page is a page you customize and ask your friends and family to visit when soliciting donations.

  • Register online as a Safeway Father’s Day Walk/Run participant.
  • On “My Donation Page,” upload your favourite picture if you’re running in memory of someone it makes a great tribute page and lets donors know why you’re participating.
  • Create a personal message
  • You can link your facebook profile to your personal donation page.
  • As an online participant you can monitor your progress: set personal donation goals and keep track of who has made an online donation on your behalf. Your supporters will also receive their tax receipt via email immediately after they pledge online. It is simple, fast and allows you to recruit support from anywhere.
I have collected donations in person. Can I add them to 'My Fundraising' summary on line?

Yes you can! Donations collected in person may be added to your fundraising goal by entering the amounts on the 'My Fundraising' summary page. Click on offline donations and enter those donations you have collected in person. This will help you to track your online and offline fundraising efforts. Please note: this tracking system is for your personal use only. All donations made offline must be brought to the run site and be accompanied by a donation form including the donor’s full name and complete address.

How do I upload a photo to add to my personal page?

On your personal page, click the ‘browse’ button in the photo section, and then in the file upload window that displays, select the photo you wish to place in that piece of the layout. Click open.

The path to the file on your computer will display in the browse test box. Also, the selected photo will show up in the cell. Please note: your image should be no larger than (xxx) in file size. Accepted file types are jpeg and gif.
