Volunteers Tie Us Together

Volunteers make us stronger! Together from coast to coast our volunteers are crucial in helping us make our event successful. Volunteers are recognized not only by us but also by participants; together we form a national community and we want to invite you to join us as we continue to fight this disease.

Event Opportunities Pre-Run

• Join your local Father’s Day Walk/Run committee to develop, organize and host the event
• Help us spread the word, we need help with brochure and poster distribution (the great part is a little help goes a long way. Dropping of to local community centers, businesses and organizations spreads the word)

Event Opportunities Run Day

• Registration – Welcome participants with a warm smile, help process their registration forms and get them started
• Water/Food Stations – Help our thirsty participants as they walk and run by cheer them on with a cool cup of water. At the food station welcome happy smiling participants with a great granola bar and bagel.
• Route Marshalls - Help us guide everyone back to the finish, we need help from people with a great sense of direction. You will be guiding participants through tricky turns and helping them finish safely.
