The 2008 Breakfasts were an outstanding success again this year, raising over $320,000. With events held in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Mississauga men (and women) across Canada were invited to learn a bit more about the disease.

The absence of a universally insured screening tool, a lack of public resources for research, chronically low public awareness about the threat posed by the disease. These are all major issues related to prostate cancer that were discussed at the breakfasts

2006 Wake up Call for Canada

The 2006 Wake Up Call Breakfasts were an outstanding success again this year. Presented by TD Bank Financial Group, the Breakfasts expanded this year to include events in Toronto, Mississauga, London, Halifax, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary.

With the help of sponsors and attendees we raised more than $300,000 for prostate cancer research, making this year the most successful to date. More than 1,500 attendees were treated to a prostate healthy breakfast and a presentation by a member of the scientific community on the advances of prostate cancer research.
