Upon joining PCC in February of 2013, Rossi quickly implemented a consolidated approach to leadership in order to guide PCC’s evolution into an increasingly professional and responsible charitable foundation. In particular, Rossi helped conceive and grow a number of innovative fundraising initiatives to advance PCC’s mission to improve outcomes for men with prostate cancer and their families through research, advocacy, education, support and awareness. Notable among these are the Rock the Road Raffle, the Step Up Challenge, and a growing Father’s Day tradition among Canadians, Plaid for Dad.

“To have had the honour of serving the 1 in 7 Canadian men who will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime and their families over the past five years has been no less a humbling journey than it has been an inspiring one,” explained Rossi. “With Canadians banding together in growing numbers to support a research community that is making one scientific breakthrough after another, I take both great pride in what has been accomplished to date and great comfort in knowing that the incredibly dedicated team at PCC will continue to bring greater hope to Canadians affected by the most common cancer in men with each passing year.”
Beginning in January of 2018 Rossi will assume the role of CEO with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce. Prior to joining Prostate Cancer Canada, Rossi held roles at Advanced Material Resources, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, The Boston Consulting Group, Torstar, Labatt/Interbrew and MGI Software.

Knightsbridge Executive Search has been retained to assist PCC’s Board of Directors in identifying Rossi’s successor through their established, reputable and successful recruitment process.
