Terence Cleary West Reid passed away suddenly on Monday, July 13, 2015, in Toronto, from complications of recently diagnosed prostate cancer – his loving family by his side. He was 73.

Gary Jones is a survivor of both prostate cancer and thyroid cancer.
Gary will soon be departing on Jones' Journey: cycling across Canada in support of prostate cancer and thyroid cancer awareness. The funds he raises will be divided equally between Prostate Cancer Canada Atlantic and the QEII Health Sciences Foundation in Halifax.
In celebration of his 70th birthday, Gary's goal is to raise $70,000 dollars.

Dr. Laurence Klotz, urological oncologist, at Sunnybrook Hospital, and honorary member of Prostate Cancer Canada’s board of directors, has been named to the Order of Canada thanks to his leading contributions to the treatment of prostate cancer.

Several PCCN support groups across the country have marked milestones this year including years of service. This month we highlight PCCN Toronto who marked 20 years of service on November 26th at the Toronto Botanical Garden. Many attended who have supported PCCN Toronto’s work over the years. Dr. Padraig Warde, radiation oncologist at Princess Margaret Hospital graciously accepted a special recognition plaque in honour of Dr. John Trachtenberg from the Prostate Centre, University Health Network who played a major role in starting the group.
