Dr Frédéric Pouliot Biographie:

Dr. Pouliot has carried out concomitantly doctorates in medicine (M.D.) and Physiology-Endocrinology (Ph.D.) at Laval University. Then, after completing a residency in Urology (F.R.C.S.C.), he did a post-doctoral fellowship in Urologic Oncology and molecular imaging at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He now practices as a faculty since 2010 and as a urologic oncologist within Quebec City University Hospital Center. He is also assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at Université Laval and holds a Prostate Cancer Canada/Movember Rising Star Awards.   His clinical and preclinical research interests include molecular imaging of recurrent and metastatic prostate cancer cells using transcriptional amplification systems and Fluoro-Choline or Fluoro-desoxyglucose Positron Emission Tomography tracers.

Prostate Cancer Canada and the Movember Foundation Announce $4M in Research Grants
