Webinar Length:13 mins

Overview: This short webinar will address key aspects of the impact of prostate cancer treatment on the couple. It is widely acknowledged that treatment for prostate cancer results in sexual side effects that impact both the man and his partner. These side effects often impact on the couple's relationship in a negative way and cause distress for both individuals. This webinar will address what these issues are as well as making suggestions to mitigate the effects on the couple.

Speaker: Dr. Anne Katz is a certified sexuality counselor at CancerCare Manitoba and Clinical Nurse Specialist at the Manitoba Prostate Centre. Dr. Katz is the editor of the Oncology Nursing Forum, the premier research journal of the Oncology Nursing Society. She was inducted into the American Academy of Nursing in 2014. She has educated health care providers and cancer survivors about cancer, sexuality, and survivorship around the world and is an avid blogger for ASCO Connections.
