Influence and Advocate

Influencing outcomes, changing lives

Canadian men do not have a level playing field when it comes to prostate cancer. Depending on where you live, not every man has access to the Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) test – a vital testing tool – through their provincial health plan. Some men may also have to pay for drugs, out of their own pocket, to treat their prostate cancer once they leave hospital. We need to bring fairness to the way men with the most common type of cancer are treated across Canada.

Men need better access to early diagnosis, treatment and support. Working with champions for the prostate cancer cause, we are seeking to influence government health policies and practices so that they support men with prostate cancer fully and fairly.
