Drew Green describes a memory from his youth that sticks in his mind: “My grandfather, who I was named after, passed away at the age of 60 after suffering from prostate cancer. I remember clearly being 14 and standing in front of his house with my Dad near the end of my Grampy’s life. My Dad looked at me right in the eyes and said: ‘Son, don’t worry, by the time I’m his age, they’re going to find a cure.’”
Tragedy would strike again. His father had prostate cancer and lost his life at the age of 62. Drew says: “For him not to be here and not to see some of my success or some of my siblings’ success, to see his grandkids and their success – that’s a really sad thing.”
Drew’s success includes his leadership in 15 companies, including President and CEO of Vancouver-based INDOCHINO – the largest custom apparel brand in the world.
His connection to the cause has led Drew and his family to support Prostate Cancer Canada. INDOCHINO proudly sponsors many Prostate Cancer Canada fundraising events and campaigns locally and nationally.

At a personal level, Drew and his family have also generously committed $250,000 to help end prostate cancer: “Prostate Cancer Canada is definitely an organization I admire and I hope to stay involved with for many, many years.”
He summarizes his hopes for the future: “I’d love to see men, women, families across the country take the time to understand the disease, the ways they can protect themselves and band together to do everything we can to eliminate it. The biggest impact is families frankly – the memories they’re not able to partake in, moments and milestones in their lives. If we can make sure those memories and milestones are enjoyed by more men – that would be an amazing outcome.”
